If you are looking for wheelchair hire but need a heavy duty or 'bariatric' wheelchair, we can offer an attendant push transit wheelchair for hire. Transit wheelchairs have smaller style wheels at the back and are easier and lighter than our heavy duty bariatric self -propel model.
Transit style wheelchairs need an attendant to push the wheelchair, as the brake controls are on the handle grips.
The locking or parking brakes can still be applied when stationery. If you are intending to push the wheelchair user, but don't need such a heavy duty wheelchair they can be found here
